Ramadan Begins on Thursday, May 17th, In Shaa Allah
At this time, no positive naked eye hilal sighting reports have been received from any parts of the world.
We are aware of the positive reports from California, USA, however, ISGH adheres to the Prophetic practice of sighting the moon with the naked eye in any part of the world. Therefore, any incoming reports of moon sightings that were made using any optical aids are not accepted.
Therefore, we’ll complete 30 days of Shabaan and we'll have our first Taraweeh prayers at ISGH on Wednesday, May 16th and first day of Ramadan will be on Thursday, May 17th InShaaAllah.
